Professor Peter Kimani

A Kenyan author, journalist and editor. He has published four books—including Dance of the Jakaranda, a New York Times Notable Book of 2017. He has taught at Amherst College, Duke University and the University of Houston. He’s Professor of Practice at Aga Khan University’s Graduate School of Media and Communications and a Research Associate at University of Witwatersrand’s Creative Writing Programme and Centre for Journalism.
